View topic - Favourite Game Soundtracks

To get this forum stated i thought i'd see what everyone's favourite game soundtracks were and why they like them. This is important because a good game soundtrack must be inobtrusive but also help immerse the player more deeply into the experience.

For me i'd have to say; the Deus Ex:Invisible War, a very well constructed combination of ambient sound and epic background music that i feel helped make the game as good as it is.

I also like the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion soundtrack, it's mix of fantasy music and cleverly intergrated ambient music makes it another classic.

It's difficult to recognise praise-worthy scores though because good audio shouldn't be noticable and should just feel so natural that the player is just further immersed in the game.

So all you audiophile/gamers out there, tell me your favourite
